Army 8th Regiment (2nd) expressed that Captain Hsu of 564 Division was early out for dinner and drinking. When returned he sneaked into the dorm of a female officer for the sexual attempt but escaped as the victim yelled at him. The unit immediately grouped up an investigating team to bring the case to Tainan MP Division and Yungkang police department. If the case were valid, the culprit would be subject to justice and penalties.

Army 8th Regiment indicated that the case was under legal investigation. By the principle of justice, the regiment would cooperate with MP’s inquiry and maintain the stance of sexual equality and discipline to protect the honour of the military.
